The biggest enterprise in the Murmansk region "Apatit" is 75 years old. In spite of such respectable age, company executives and the staff of the company are sure that it has sustainable future. The guarantee of this mood lies in young people who work in this enterprise. Recently the youth party has been held in Kirovsk. The leisure complex "Bolshoy Woodjavr" received guests. The young faces shone with joy, they felt the party would be nice and pleasant. Working hard they deserved good rest. The heads of the enterprise honored leading workers. The books "Apatit" from century to century", published specially for the anniversary, were presented to the best workers. Among those, who were awarded, are engineers, drivers, laboratory assistants – altogether 23 members of the staff. The general manager of the enterprise "Apatit" conferred a grant on five young people from Kirovsk. 15.000 rubles got the students, for excellent results in studying, social activities, for those who took prize-winning places in the regional and international contents and competitions. Such attention to youngsters is one of the most important trends in the social policy of the enterprise. The programs of young specialists’ support functions there. But it is necessary to notice that young boys and girls don’t wait. Currently the group that consists of 60 young people suggested organizing the youth social organization of the enterprise "Apatit".
One of the most important chess tournaments for the title of the World chess champion among the girls under 16 is to take place today in Greek City of Irakleon. Two leaders of this championship will participate, they are Bela Hotenashvilly from Georgia and Valentine Gunina from Murmansk. They both masterfully started in this tournament and after its end they are obviously not against getting the world champion crown. Yesterday chess – players had the day-off, before it the rival from Georgia scored only half a point more than the girl from our city. After 6 match games the Georgian sportswoman scored 5,5 points. And Valentine Gunina won six games and at the moment is taking the second place.
