On the 2nd of February the delegation of teachers and students from University in Rovaniemi (Finland) came to Murmansk. According to information agency Regnum, the delegation consists of students from the former Soviet Republics, Brazil, Spain, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Tanzania and so on. They would get the profession of managers in the sphere of international cooperation; they specialize in transport and economic cooperation, information technologies. It’s not the first time they visit the Murmansk region; they have already been to Apatiti, Kandalaksha. The aim of their visit is to acquaint with the region, with its economic perspectives, development of cooperation on the international market.
The situation with hepatitis A in Apatiti is still very serious. There are about 180 people in the town, and every day one or two people are taken ill. Despite all taken measures, there are no visible changes – in 60 cases of infection, the source is not revealed. On the last meeting of the municipal anti-epidemic commission were discussed next steps in improving situation. In all kindergartens is introduced abundant drinking regime. Also doctors expressed pressing demands not to drink water before boiling it. Hepatitis Virus is very steady to cold and dies only in case the water is boiling several minutes. But the most effective way to prevent illness is vaccination. About 8 thousand people had the opportunity to be vaccinated free of charge.
